Our Clearinghouse Care Center receives between 20-30 calls a day. Our volunteers who answer the phones hear many difficult stories throughout the call.
Our volunteer received a call that was noticeably different. This neighbor had a presence of joy in the midst of their struggle. When asked what led them to Love INC, she said,
“A dear friend of mine was struggling for years and decided to reach out to you. He told me that Love INC had saved his life, and he would forever be grateful.”
Our Care Center lifts others up with hope and encouragement while responding to the present needs in their lives.
When our neighbor took a chance and called the Love INC Clearinghouse Care Center, she was living out of her car. At that time dealing with financial and health issues she was unable to work.
Through the support and partnership of churches, we were able to ease some of these burdens, with our laundry and gas ministry help. She decided to enroll in the New Creation Program attending the Faith and Finance course.
She was supported in learning living simply while spending wisely.
She shared that receiving encouraging phone calls from our prayer volunteer helped her get through times she was in such need of love and support.
She now has a steady job!
